Dr Tebabu Wubetu played a key role in the establishment of the Newcastle and Surrounding Habesha (Ethiopian) Community. When The community heard the untimely and unexpected passing of Dr. Tebabu Wubetu, They invited the community to come together and Remember and Celebrate Dr. Tebabu Wubetu’s contribution to the community.
