Dr. Tebabu Tessema Wubetu: Before his passing when the idea of Debre Zeit magic website was presented to him, he enthusiastically supported the idea and provided some initial suggestions as to how to go about building the website that can help to bring together long time friends, keep memories, and help tell their stories’ to the next generation. His contribution is recognized.
Addesse Haile: After spending some time during his summer vacation in 2021 in Washington D.C with Solomon Zewdie and Ylifa, Addesse became curious and proposed a way to understand, cherish, and pass along the many challenges and successes of Dr. Tebabu Tessema Wubetu, Solomon, Admassu, Brook and their friends magical life in Debre Zeit. This idea gave birth to the Debre Zeit magic website.
Professor Brook Lemma Mamaru: Professor Brook was part of the first conversation with Dr Tebabu Tessema Wubetu about the development of the Debre Zeit Magic website. He supported the idea without hesitation. Since the passing of Dr. Tebabu Tessema Wubetu and the dedication of the site to celebrating Dr. Tebabu Tessema Wubetu, he has been Tirelessly working on the website. From providing ideas to make the websites flow better, tying lose ends as well as editing the content, he has contributed to the development of the site to where it is now.
Tayech Wubetu: Despite the most difficult situation she is in, Tayech have been supporting the development of the website and contributing materially and morally. She has provided us with a lot of the pictures used in the website as well as the testimonies and other pertinent material she received from different sources. Hence, we recognize her support and contribution.
Dr. Jonathan T. Wubetu: Taking time out of his extremely busy schedule, Dr. Jonathan have supported the development of the website by providing his initial feedback of the website. His suggestion to improve the looks of the site helped in re-designing the content of the website. We recognize his support and contribution. His continued support and suggestion is invaluable.
Solomon Zewdie: The impression he and Yilfa made on young Addesse is the start of the Magic of Debre Zeit. Although Dr. Tebabu Tessema Wubetu did not live long enough to see some of the work that is done, it is going to serve to celebrate him and the magic of Debre Zeit.
Yilfa: Yilfa is the other key motivator of Addesse for the generation of the idea of Debre Zeit Magic. Her role in conceiving the idea of Debre Zeit magic is acknowledged.
Taddesse Haile: Initially served to convey the idea and coordinate the activities to develop the Debre Zeit Magic website. Currently serving as site administrator.
